 10/10/23 Mojo Representations Stereotypical representation example is of Stephen Malkmus as he is shown on a horse which shows his assertion of dominance and he is a white young male which is stereotypically displayed rather than a male of a different ethnicity also having him pictured on a horse this also shows his affluence as it suggests is wealth this would be of interest of abc1 people which is mojos magazine's target audience. Another example is of Christopher Eccleston as above his picture it shows all of his albums displaying his brilliance this is stereotypical to his gender as man are shown as smart also men of abc1 category connotes to smarts to be wealthy so coincides with social economic group.  4/10/23 Media Language CODES~ A SET OF SIGNS AND SYMBOLS THAT SHOW/SUGGEST THE MEANING CONVENTIONS~ SOMETHING TYPICAl OF A GENRE The use of bright bold blended colours yellow, purple, pink and blue  enhances the psychedelic nature of their music they produce the colours of a rainbow is a code for their most iconic album cover 'the prism', they also use an extreme close  up  of the bands heads this allows an element of supernatural as the picture isn't clear but instead faded which adds to their psychedelic theme. Additionally, the extreme close up of their heads gives loyal fans a chance to see their favourite fan one on one.
